This is a really nice idea, What the Font have developed an iPhone application that can identify fonts for you. Take a picture of the type with your iPhone and it will tell you what teh font is. You can also upload images to their website in the same way. It should save hours trying to recognise fonts. Click on the image above to go to their site.
